Lyka is a ten-year-old girl who lives with her family in a secluded city where humanity desperately tries to protect itself against a toxic, fungal-infested earth. Her father works in a factory, but his asthma worsens every day. One day, while tagging along with her father at the factory, she finds a mysterious book with a special plant that may hold the cure for her Father’s ailment. The only problem is that it grows in the farthest region outside of the city, far beyond everything she knows.
