Kenny’s mother, Laura, has vanished leaving him anxious and unsettled. Laura’s partner Luther is there to help Kenny, but something strange is bubbling beneath the surface. Kenny’s escape from all of this might be Eva, an icy, unreachable girl at a nearby Catholic prep school, with something slightly off about her. This is a prelude to a larger story.
