The Cartoonist Co-op is proud to make a public commitment to the cultural arm of the Boycott, Divest, Sanctions (BDS) movement: the Palestinian Campaign for the Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI). As cultural workers, we refuse to be complicit in the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by Israel. Until the occupation is ended, the equal rights of Arab-Palestinians are recognized, and refugees are allowed to return home, we will continue our boycott of institutions including (but not limited to) magazines, publishers, art galleries, public programs, bookstores and literary agencies that enable the subjugation and dehumanization of Palestinians through their cultural and financial normalization of the Israeli occupation. We stand in solidarity with Palestinian people and institutions resisting settler colonialism, apartheid, and genocide.
